Who we are

Sorvenia is a small self-drive hire company in Salford. One Moskvich 5, a reserve car behind it, no forecourt and no counter. We deliver and collect across Greater Manchester inside the M60, which removes the depot trip from the process entirely.

What makes us slightly unusual

We publish the car's problems. Most hire companies treat a maintenance record as something to keep quiet about; we will send you ours before you book if you ask, and we have written up what actually goes wrong with this model in public.

The reasoning is simple. With one car there is nowhere to hide a bad one, so the only sustainable approach is to maintain it properly and be open about the result. A customer who knows the car has had a set of tyres and a brake job is a customer who trusts the rest of what we say.

How the car is kept

• One independent garage in Salford, from the first service onwards
• Transmission fluid strictly to interval — the thing a CVT genuinely punishes
• Tyres, brakes and fluids checked at every return, not periodically
• Valeted before each handover
• A fault flagged on return stops the car going out until it is fixed

What we do not do

We do not quote customer counts or star ratings, and we do not publish fuel consumption figures we have not verified. If a number is not something we can stand behind, it is not on the site. Anything you want to know that is missing, ask us directly.
